1. Up until a year ago, Shaun didn't know how to set up his own board. The funniest thing ever, is that last year he won a contest with his bindings backwards. He was rocking his right on his left and his left on his right.

2. Shaun is slow, not like slow in the head, but getting out the door slow. I'm talking old-lady-counting-pennies-in-the-checkout-lane slow. Basically, I tell Shaun we're leaving an hour before we really have to go, just to get him somewhat on time.

3. Shaun cannot cook. When Shaun is behind the oven you better run, because it's going to taste a lot worse then licking the ass of a dead donkey.

4. Shaun doesn't like Gundam (Japanese sci-fi toys). He used to when he was like 13, but now he's over it. What's super funny is that when we go to Japan, everyone gives him Gundam. He is always appreciative and pretends like he likes them. Everyone gets super psyched that he liked his gifts, so they buy him more. It's a vicious circle.

5. He loves to watch cartoons. He could watch cartoons forever. I put them on when he's getting on my nerves and it's like watching a bug run straight into a light.

6. He loves to play guitar. We both started to learn and now he's addicted. What's funny is that his left index is permanently straight - he can't bend it because the bone fused the joint together. So he's like a handicapped guitar player.

7. Shaun can quote almost any movie that he's seen. He's like some sort of wizard when it comes to that stuff. It's super funny when he does it because it is always at the perfect moment.

8. Shaun has everything in his closest organized. His shirt have to be organized by color - it goes black shirts, gray shirts, white shirts, and then assorted colors.

9. Shaun is scared of everything in the ocean. Fish, seaweed, shells - if he's surfing and sees something in the water, he gets petrified.

10. Shaun has no clue about what is going on in the world of snowboarding or skateboarding. People just assume that he knows every part in every movie, but he has no idea. It's funny when people talk to him about that stuff, because he's like "Oh yeah, that was cool." but he has no idea.
